Next Match: at home to Werder Bremen, January 27 Jeffrey Bruma is set to benefit from an injury to Michael Mancienne to get an extended run in the Hamburg first team. Mancienne has been ruled out for up to six weeks after tearing ankle ligament in the game against Nurnberg last weekend, and Bruma is lined up to replace him. "He did a good job and got involved immediately," said coach Thorsten Fink. Bruma replaced Mancienne in the 14th minute against Nurnberg, and was not unprepared. "When you are young, then you always want to play and show what you can do, but sometimes you've got to be patient waiting for your chance," said the 21-year-old defender. That chance has now come. |
