The mood at MSV Duisburg this week has been tinged with sadness as their relegation from the Bundesliga was confirmed with defeat against Bayern Munich last weekend. Rudi Bommer's side certainly made a go of it but not until they had fallen 3-0 behind. They got it back to 3-2 but could not find a third goal and other results ensured Duisburg's one-year stay in the top flight was over. All that remains is a now somewhat meaningless final fixture at Eintracht Frankfurt, but Bommer insists his side will take the match seriously. He said: "We want to leave the Bundesliga sensibly. Frankfurt will be no friendly match."
