    Would anyone pull the trigger on acquiring Matt Forte for Randy Moss? I already have C. Johnson, Pierre Thomas, and McCoy, so it might dent my WR's too much (Ochocinco, Sims-Walkers, Driver). Also the better spot start? Orton @SD, or Cassell @WAS

    How could you even hesitate on that? Moss has been completely inconsistent this year, Brady isn't the same. Forte has had a slow start but he is a big weapon in Chicago and one of the few backs that doesn't split carries at all. McCoy is a horrible play as a 2nd RB, and your WRs are good enough without Moss.

    i dont think its such a slam dunk of a deal. forte is not an elite talent and they are not going to check down to him nearly as much as they did last year with cutler now. he hasn't done much of anything yet, he had a nice week last week i think but nothing major. moss has potential for massive numbers more valuable than forte. i'd see if you could move sims walker for a nice rb 2. maybe kevin smith, brandon jacobs, steve slaton or something like that

    Well i'm not starting McCoy anytime soon, it's in case Westbrook goes down. Really it's about my WR depth getting sapped. Moss IS consisent, it's Brady who is missing the throws in the endzone. But having 3 deadly RB's ain't that bad either.

    alexm - I just traded Moss this week for S-Jax but I have depth at WR (Fitz, Steve Smith - NY, Sims-Walker, & Burleson) & needed some depth at RB (Kevin Smith, Marshawn, & Mendenhall). One big thing against trading Moss that I had to consider was his easy schedule (Ten & TB coming up and Car, Buf, & Jax in weeks 14-16, which is our fantasy playoffs). By then, Brady could get more comfortable in the pocket....
    In regards to Forte, I don't think he'd be your absolute starter with C. Johnson and PT on your team and Forte has GB, Bal, & MIN in weeks 14-16.
