    Sechelt approves lower 7.71% property tax increase for 2024 budget

    Sechelt has finalised its 2024 budget – approving a 7.71 per cent property tax increase over the previously suggested 8.48 per cent. For the average residential property valued at $994,038, this will amount to a $218 increase. The budget was presented for the final time at the district’s May 8 regular meeting.
