    Lakeside house in Tennessee explodes and catches fire, no injuries reported

    A lakeside house in Knox County, Tennessee exploded on November 20, sending debris flying outwards in a 150-yard radius. No one was in the building when the blast occurred. Officials are currently investigating the circumstances behind the explosion.

    The FBI arrested a man who's been charged with planning an attack on the New York Stock Exchange

    A Florida man was arrested Wednesday and charged with a plot to “reboot” the U.S. government by planting a bomb at the New York Stock Exchange this week and detonating it with a remote-controlled device, according to the FBI. Harun Abdul-Malik Yener, 30, of Coral Springs, Florida, was charged with attempt to use an explosive device to damage or destroy a building used in interstate commerce. The FBI began investigating Yener in February based on a tip that he was storing “bombmaking schematics” in a storage unit.

    Hurricanes defeat Flyers 4-1 with strong third period

    PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Sebastian Aho had a goal and an assist and the Carolina Hurricanes scored three times in the opening minutes of the third period to break it open and defeat the Philadelphia Flyers 4-1 on Wednesday night.
