This is the giant, sickly looking effigy of Lionel Messi that was set on fire in Argentina

In La Plata, Argentina, it's tradition to ring in the new year by burning giant effigies for good luck. This year, one of the 144 effigies built and burned throughout the city was of a monsterish Leo Messi -- with a nose like Saturn -- wearing his Argentina kit and sitting on top of the world.

The head was able to turn from side to side as if passing judgement on the inferior mortals with nose shaped noses beneath it. Here's video of the giant Messi getting fireworked out of its misery...
