Watch Peter Chiarelli and Bruins staff make decision to deal Tyler Seguin (Video)

On Monday night, NESN debuted "Behind the B," which is an all-access show that will follow the Boston Bruins during the 2013-14 season. The first episode begins post-Game 6 after their Stanley Cup defeat at the hands of the Chicago Blackhawks and wraps up with Tuukka Rask's golf skills.

The most interesting part from Episode 1 is watching general manager Peter Chiarelli and his staff -- pre-free agency -- discuss Nathan Horton and Tyler Seguin and making tough decisions with the NHL's salary cap going down to $64.3 million.

After seeing some rumors on "the Twitterverse", Chiarelli receives confirmation from Horton's agent that the forward won't be returning. Once that decision is made for them, it's time to discuss Seguin, who after a down playoffs has soured some in the organization:

"I just think there's too many red flags with him ... I don't like the way his game is going. He hasn't proven that he's tough enough where he plays our style of game," said Scott Bradley, Bruins Director of Player Personnel. "I don't know if a leopard ever changes its spots, but he's going to have to."

We'll bet part of the Seguin discussions included the extracurricular activities that came out in the Boston media after the deal, but wound up on the cutting room floor.

It's a great inside look at an organization without the entire hour being fluff. HBO 24/7 has set a pretty high bar when it comes to the NHL and all-access and more and more teams, like the Pittsburgh Penguins' "In the Room" and the Edmonton Oilers' "Oil Change", are jumping on board.

Now comes word from Chris Botta of Sports Business Journal that the NHL is going to produce a 24/7-style show following players during the outdoor games up until February's Olympics in Sochi to air on NBCSN, CBC and Sportsnet. The more the better.
