Toledo Walleye color ice green for weekend games (Photos)

The Toledo Walleye have gone green to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day all weekend.

The ECHL team colored the Huntington Center ice green for their Friday game against the Brampton Beast and will keep it green Saturday against the Evansville IceMen. You can see the color of the ice in this video.

The Walleye have gone green for St. Patrick’s day in the past and below is a photo the Walleye tweeted out in honor of the day and the promotion.

The ice will be green, the beer will be greener, and fans can pick up special St. Patrick's Day-themed Walleye fanwear at the Swamp Shop all weekend long!

The Walleye didn’t much St. Patrick’s day luck on Friday. They beat the Beast 5-0.
