Swiss team scores three goals in 17 seconds (Video)

Fresh off of having their bus attacked by opposing fans en route to Wednesday's game, Geneve-Servette took our their frustrations on Fribourg in the opening period of their game.

Roland Gerber, Jim Slater and Tom Pyatt scored in a 17-second span to help Geneve-Servette grab a 3-1 lead in the final minute of the first period.

The NHL record for fastest three goals by one team in a game is 20 seconds, set by the Boston Bruins in 1971. It’s unsure what the world record is, but the Kelowna Rockets scored a trio of goals in 12 seconds during WHL play back in 1996.

Pretty nice Christmas present there for the home fans.
