John Klingberg scores from center ice vs. Edmonton (Video)

In just eight games with the Dallas Stars, rookie defenseman John Klingberg has made an impression. After Tuesday night, Viktor Fasth won't forget him soon either.

Klingberg scored a long-distance goal on the Edmonton Oilers' netminder, scoring his seventh point in eight games for Dallas.

After Jason Spezza won a faceoff, Klingberg unleashed a waffling, fluttering slap shot that eluded Fasth's glove to give Dallas the 1-0 lead and giving Dallas Eakins a little more goalie-related heartburn.

Klingberg would later add an assist on Tyler Seguin's goal in the second period, moving him into a tie for rookie scoring leaders among defensemen. Not a bad couple of weeks for the newbie as the Stars won 3-2.
