Hershey Bears snow globe giveaway features Nathan Walker and a kangaroo
Nathan Walker is a hockey player in the Washington Capitals system. He’s currently playing for the Hershey Bears of the AHL. He’s also Australian, so he’s heard all of your jokes about koalas, kangaroos and that episode of The Simpsons.
But he probably hasn’t been part of a promotion like the Bears are doing on Saturday night.

The first 5,000 fans in attendance will get one, which means about 25-percent of them will be on eBay for outrageous prices come Sunday morning. If Zemgus Girgensons can get a ton of love from his native Lativa for the All-Star Game, we imagine the Bears will see a surge of interest in producing more of these from the land Down Under.
