Giant chocolate Chicago Blackhawks statue looks yummy and horrifying (Photo)

People of Chicago mostly love the Blackhawks. A lot probably love chocolate. So why not put both together and create the tastiest Blackhawks figurine ever made?

The above is a photo of a 650-pound chocolate Chicago Blackhawks player. Yes, that’s 650 pounds of chocolate. In case you were wondering, the heaviest player on Chicago’s roster on its website is 238-pound Viktor Svedberg. So this chocolate statue equals … 2.73 Svedbergs. Approximately 3.23 versions of Jonathan Toews can fit in this statue.

Who is this thing modeled after? It uses an old-school CCM helmet, so that limits us to Blackhawks players of the prior era. Maybe current day Tony Amonte?

A spokesperson for chef Alain Roby's All Chocolate Kitchen told NBC Chicago that the sculpture doesn't represent one player, but instead is an homage to the entire team.

Would love to see Andrew Shaw take a bite out of this.

It was presented to broadcaster Eddie Olczyk apparently at a Blackhawks Heritage Night by All Chocolate Kitchen. (S/t Second City Hockey)
