The Mark Sanchez ‘Buttfumble’ silent movie is a total and epic win

For New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, it was the worst moment in a season full of worst moments. On Thanksgiving night, as the New England Patriots were beating the stuffing (sorry) out of the Jets, Sanchez ran right into the buttocks area of right guard Brandon Moore, fumbled the ball, and had to watch as Patriots safety Steve Gregory returned the loose ball 32 yards fr a touchdown. New England scored 35 points in the second quarter and want on to dismantle the Jets, 49-19.

The "Buttfumble" will ever live on in Sanchez and Jets lore, and now, the good folks at TFF Films have turned the most embarrassing play of the 2012 season into a silent movie. And yes, it's just as good as you think it would be.

"I guess (I was) more stunned than anything," Sanchez told The Associated Press after the fact. "Just like a car accident. I was like, 'Whoa. What just happened?' Then, the ball's gone. It was weird."

Yeah, funny how those things happen.

"It's embarrassing," Sanchez concluded. "You screw up the play, and I'm trying to do the right thing. It's not like I'm trying to force something. I start to slide, and I slide right in the worst spot I possibly could: right into Brandon Moore."

Kinda lends credence to the claim of former Jets backup quarterback Erik Ainge, who recently said that when it comes to the Sanchize, "you have to be smart while being stupid, and he’s dumb while being dumb."

There's nothing dumb about the parody, though. It will make your day, as long as you're not a Jets fan.
