Maryland is wearing what could possibly be the ugliest shoes in college football history this week. So there's that.
Maryland is bringing back the uniforms patterned after the state flag for this weekend's game against Georgia Tech (pictured below). And those uniforms are not very easy on the eyes, but the shoes (posted on a blog by the NBC affiliate in Washington) bring the look to a whole other level.
Dr. Saturday suspects the athletic department considered these shoes first before finally settling on what they'll wear this weekend:
