Bay Area artist Ashkon achieved a decent amount of local celebrity in 2010 when he rewrote Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" into an anthem for the the World Series-bound San Francisco Giants. While he didn't release anything in the run up to this year's title, Ashkon took advantage of last Wednesday's parade to record a Giants-themed version of Queen's "We Are The Champions." You probably have to bleed orange and black to fully appreciate Ashkon's overanimated attempt at a Freddie Mercury lip sync/impersonation, but we always appreciate the effort.
