Now that Barney the baseball player has socked a game-ending home run for the Chicago Cubs in an 8-6 win over the Padres on Wednesday afternoon — an accomplishment that puts him in the tier of his famous namesakes, Charles Darwin and Barney the Dinosaur — it's urgent that society remain clear on who is who.
