Daily Dime: Wong, Duda, deGrom and seven other can't-miss, sure-fire daily bargains

OK, perhaps "can't-miss" is a bit strong. But it's snappier than "less-likely-to-miss-than-many-others." As always, please remember to check the pregame weather reports and scan MLB lineups as they're released. Now let's do this thing...

[Yahoo Sports Fantasy Football is back: Sign up for a league today!]

Jacob deGrom, P, vs. Phi (Williams), $9700 at FanDuel: I am not gonna get out-deGrom'd today, you guys. Oh, no. Jacob is a bit cheaper than Tuesday's blue-chip starters (Kershaw, Price, Bumgarner), plus he's facing doomed team and he's coming off a brilliant performance (8.0 IP, 1 H, 11 Ks). Earlier this year, deGrom fired 6.1 scoreless innings at the Phils.

Mike Napoli, 1B, at Min (Pelfrey), $3500: Well, duh. He's on fire at the plate and facing Pelf. You'd think this would go well. Napoli has five multi-hit games in his last seven, with five bombs during that stretch. Over the past week, he's raised his batting average to .211 from something like -.067.

Josh Donaldson, 3B, vs. CWS (Danks), $3700: Everyone against John Danks, you guys. All hands. Righties, lefties, switch-hitters, creatures with many tentacles, mammals with flippers ... EVERYONE. Danks has been a walk-machine this year, and a homer-machine. Donaldson is 4-for-9 in his career against Danks with a home run, double and five RBIs.

Wilmer Flores, SS, vs. Phi (Williams), $2200: I mean, he's not even the most expensive Wilmer on today's slate (Difo). This seems like a deal. Flores homered on Monday, his seventh bomb of the season. He's also hit safely in 11 of his last 12 games, and he's facing Jerome Williams (1.60 WHIP). At a minimum price, I'm definitely on board.

Seth Smith, OF, at TB (Colome), $2200: Another dirt-cheap option, and Smith should be hitting near the top of the order, facing a right-hander. Seth doubled twice on Monday and scored a pair of runs. So far this season, LHBs are batting .298 against Colome and slugging .544.

Kole Calhoun, OF, vs. SD (Despaigne), $2800: Calhoun has been hitting cleanup for the Halos, immediately behind Trout and Pujols. It's tough to find a better spot to hit in any team's lineup, really. Despaigne has been dreadful in three of his last four outings, and merely tolerable in the other. His season ERA has ballooned to 6.11, and he's walking nearly as many batters as he strikes out (11 to 16).

Kolten Wong, 2B, vs. Ari (Bradley), $3200 : Bradley has struggled since returning from the DL (8 ER in 7.0 IP), and Wong has been scorching hot at the plate. He's slashing .344/.402/.527 in May with four homers and five doubles. It's tough not to like him here, leading off (presumably) against a scuffling righty.

Lucas Duda, 1B, vs. Phi (Williams), $3500: OK, after this we're done with Mets, I promise. Without looking it up, I'm gonna guess that Duda is hitting .750 in his career vs. Jerome Williams with maybe 17 home runs.

*looks it up*

Nope, he's merely 2-for-6 against Williams with one home run. Not the most meaningful sample. Still, this is a very good left-handed bat facing a not-very-good right-handed arm, priced well. I'm game.

Salvador Perez, C, at NYY (Warren), $2600: Not a bad price for a backstop coming off an off-day, batting .303 on the year. Perez's 11-game hitting streak just came to an end, but he's a strong candidate to start a new one, facing a sketchy starter.

Mike Zunino, C, at TB (Colome), $2300

Nope, forget that. Not starting. Let's try another bargain, different position...

Preston Tucker, OF, at Bal (Tillman): Tucker has been raking since the call-up, slashing .341/.426/.585 with two homers and four doubles over 41 at-bats. He's a left-handed power bat facing a right-hander with a 1.62 WHIP. If you missed him in seasonal leagues, test-drive him in daily.
